Job Description

Job Title: Communication Specialist Sr

Job Location: Juno Beach FL
Contract Length/Duration: 12 months


Job Overview:

Responsible for contributing to the strategic communication support of a large high visibility business
unit. Expected to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and independence in assessing and
diagnosing communication needs and taking a handson approach to executing a response plan.
Strong problemsolving skills and creative outofthe box thinking. Specific responsibilities include
strategic communication planning writing message development following and improving established
processes. Strong project management skills. Develop quantifiable metrics to track performance and
progress. Responsibilities are varied and complex and include frequent crossfunctional interactions.
Will interface with business unit leadership and business process owners.


Qualifications:

Seven or more years of relevant experience required; experience in three or more
communication disciplines required.
Bachelors degree in related field (Journalism Communication Marketing Liberal Arts Public
Relations Advertising etc) required.

Excellent writing verbal editing presentation and overall communication skills. Extremely
strong APstyle writing and editing skills.
Expected to demonstrate expertise through writing and editing tests.
Must demonstrate expertise in the development and disciplined execution of strategic
communication plans and using research and audience insight to develop key messages.
Demonstrated discipline in project execution.
An ability to remain flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of internal clients and
demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for their business.
A talent for creative thinking and problem solving.
Ability to follow critical business processes to ensure quality and timely execution of initiatives.
Ability to multitask and maintain high performance under extreme pressure in a dynamic fast
paced environment.
Demonstrated basic graphic design skills setup for print projects and ability to work with
vectorbased artwork.
