Job Description

Position Title: Task Order 33 Project Manager Junior

Location: 14501 Sweitzer Lane Laurel MD 20707

Schedule: Monday Friday (three days onsite and up to 2 days remote work) 9am 5pm

Period of Performance: one year (potential for extension up to five)

Resumes due : 12/11/2024 by 12pm

Interview: Interviews will be performed via TEAMS

Duties / Responsibilities

Management of a specific project and the work to be performed. Responsible for ensuring work performed is within scope consistent with requirements and delivered on time and on budget. Performs daytoday management of projects identify issues and risks. Identifies issues and risks and recommends possible mitigation strategies associated with the project.

Preferred Experience/Qualification/Knowledge Skills

a. Education: Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related technical field and one (1) year minimum of relevant experience

b. General Experience: At least 1year experience in a project coordinator role. Basic understanding of project management principles. Excellent customer service skills. General knowledge of project management software. Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office 365 applications

c. Specialized Experience Develop concrete detailed plans for a project including the schedule the budget and outlining the duties of each team member. Collaborate with various teams and conduct meetings to develop project plans. Experience identifying project goals and setting a timeline for the project. Ability to manage diverse project teams to ensure successful task completion. Responsible for gathering and documenting all project artifacts. Comfort speaking to large groups and senior management.

d. Skillset Basic project management knowledge organizational skills communications skills time management team collaboration problemsolving and analytical skills.
