Job Description
- The job is responsible for manufacturing core sheets in the C4 process and supporting the Panels Department.
- Shearing and stretching of hobes.
- Loading sheets into the machine.
- Monitoring the production process.
- Other duties as assigned and flexibility is key.
- The duties of this job are physically demanding.
- Forklift and overhead crane operation (training provided).
- Basic housekeeping duties and basic machine maintenance.
- Active participation in operational improvement activities.
- Willing to cross train or transfer to other departments as needed.
- Other task as needed and flexibility is key.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- This will include weekends.
- 2 years relevant steady work history preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read write and communicate in English is required.
- Have legible handwriting/printing and good basic math skills.
- Highly motivated and be able to work independently or as a team member to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Able to push/pull/lift 80 pounds (two person lift is available).
- Wear fullface respirator for certain tasks/duties.
