Job Description
Job role: Software Developer L3
Duration: Long term
Location: Torrance CA 12 days in office per week onsite
Technical Requirements
Backend Technologies:
- Java
- Python
- Node.js
- REST APIs
- AWS Services (Lambda and others)
Database Experience:
- SQL
- NoSQL
- Full stack capabilities desired though backend expertise is priority
Project Focus:
- AWS development and service applications
- Creating/maintaining Hondas serviceside ecosystem
- Customer lifecycle journey mapping
- Applications for customer touchpoints (e.g. appointment scheduling dealership interactions)
Project Status:
- Immediate need with work ready to begin
- Looking to start candidate early in new year
- Current team in place but additional support needed for new projects
Job Description:
Daily Tasks Performed:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js Java and Python.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with AWS services EC2 S3 Lambda RDS etc.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Proficiency in Node.js Java and Python.
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies HTML CSS JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with database technologies SQL NoSQL.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
