Job Description
Project Buyer Plant / Special Purpose Machinery Construction (m/f/d) 912 months AÜ (with option to take over)
Projectrelated purchasing of goods (Bulk Materials & Engineered Items) and services. The project buyer's area of responsibility includes the following tasks in the quotation and order phase of projects:
Tasks
• Procurement support of EPCM customer orders (Engineering Procurement Construction Management) in cooperation with the internal departments (sales PL engineering logistics)
• Selection and evaluation of suppliers / subcontractors
• Price and contract negotiations
• Drafting of UAN/supplier contracts in compliance with customer contracts and own companyspecific specifications
• Monitoring of delivery dates quality and costs
• Market observation inquiry preparation & offer evaluation
• Clarifications with the technical project managers
• Ordering order tracking & commercial invoice verification
• Risk & change management with subcontractors
• Internal and external reporting
Qualifications
• Several years of professional experience as a project buyer in international plant engineering (e.g. for production plants/special machine construction/infrastructure/wind/energy plant construction/etc.)
• Worldwide purchasing of bulk material & engineered items in individual cases services e.g. assembly services on site / occupational safety/...
• Basics of crossborder VAT (since worldwide locations of the plant projects (taking into account a permanent establishment issue))
• SAP knowledge / MS Office
• German/English (for negotiations with German and worldwide suppliers)
