Job Title: PGT History (Post Graduate Teacher in History)
Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Prepare and deliver lessons in History to senior secondary students (Grades 11 and 12).
- Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans that are aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Utilize various teaching methods such as lectures discussions multimedia and project work to enhance student learning.
Curriculum Development:
- Ensure the curriculum is followed as per the guidelines of the respective educational board (CBSE ICSE etc.).
- Incorporate modern teaching strategies historical inquiry and critical thinking skills into the lessons.
Assessments and Evaluations:
- Design and conduct periodic assessments (quizzes tests assignments projects and examinations).
- Evaluate student performance provide feedback and track their progress.
- Prepare report cards and provide periodic performance evaluations to parents and school management.
Student Support:
- Offer academic support to students through extra classes tutorials or counseling when needed.
- Motivate and inspire students to develop a deep interest in history and related subjects.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Manage student behavior ensuring respect for the learning process and discipline within the classroom.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students in the classroom.
Requirements
M.A History and B.Ed with 2 to 3 years of experience
preferably in the education secteacher development needs Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage training initiatives Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and implement improvements Familiarity with CBSE guidelines and curriculum will be an added advantage
