Job Title: Bilingual Translator (Spanish and English)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a fluent Spanish and Englishspeaking translator to join our team. The role involves providing accurate translation services and assisting with orientations for new employees clients or program participants. The ideal candidate is detailoriented culturally sensitive and comfortable working in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents emails and other materials accurately between Spanish and English.
- Serve as an interpreter during meetings orientations and presentations.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation sessions by translating instructions policies and procedures.
- Facilitate clear communication between Spanishspeaking and Englishspeaking individuals or groups.
- Ensure translations maintain the original intent tone and context.
- Proofread and edit translations for accuracy and clarity.
- Provide cultural context and guidance to help improve understanding and communication.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English with strong verbal and written skills in both languages.
- Proven experience in translation and/or interpretation (formal or informal settings).
- Comfort and experience in conducting or supporting orientations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse populations.
- Familiarity with industryspecific terminology (if applicable to the organization).
- Organizational and timemanagement skills to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in translation/interpretation (optional but advantageous).
- Experience in customer service human resources or educationrelated roles.
- Knowledge of workplace policies and compliance standards.
Work Environment:
