Position Overview:
We seek skilled and customerfocused bartenders with a current TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification to join our team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving various beverages delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities
Beverage Service
- Mix garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of drink menus and specials.
- Ensure compliance with TABC laws and guidelines regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
Customer Engagement
- Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Take drink and food orders promptly and accurately.
- Address customer questions preferences and special requests with professionalism.
Compliance and Safety
- Verify customer identification to ensure the legal drinking age.
- Monitor guest behavior and consumption refusing service to intoxicated individuals when necessary.
- Adhere to all TABC regulations and workplace safety standards.
Bar Maintenance
- Restock bar inventory including liquor mixers and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including glassware and equipment.
- Perform opening and closing duties including counting the cash drawer and cleaning tasks.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with servers barbacks and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively to manage guest flow and meet service standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- TABC Certification: Must have a current and valid TABC certificate.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a related role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages mixology and bar equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle highpressure situations and busy environments with professionalism.
- Familiarity with pointofsale (POS) systems and basic math skills for handling transactions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as cases of beverages or kegs.
- Capability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment including nights weekends and holidays.
Salary/Compensation:
Hourly rate tips (commensurate with experience).
High school diploma or GED. ServSafe food handling certification is preferred. Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques. Proven experience working as a Cook. The ability to follow recipes. The ability to work in a team. The ability to stand for extended periods. Effective communication skills.
