As an AWS DevOps Engineer you will play a critical role in designing implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services.
Job Summary
Were looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices AWS cloud infrastructure and experience with containerization orchestration and automation tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability scalability and security.
Key Responsibilities
Design implement and maintain scalable secure and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and on Kubernetes.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications and services.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS codebuild github actions or other automation tools.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation Terraform or other IaC tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues using AWS CloudWatch OpenObserve and other monitoring tools.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and AWS security standards.
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and deployment using languages like Python or Bash.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Participate in oncall rotations for production support and provide timely resolution of issues.
Requirements
3 years of experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS EKS VPC and more.
Experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like AWS Codebuild and github actions.
Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools like AWS CloudFormation Terraform or Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch OpenObserve or other tools.
Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards like HIPAA PCIDSS or SOC 2.
Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working with crossfunctional teams.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
