Reporting to the Banquet Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Arrange tables chairs linens silverware and glassware according to the event plan.
- Set up buffet stations beverage stations and other service areas as directed.
- Greet guests and attend to their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards and the specific event plan.
- Clear plates glasses and silverware as guests finish their meals.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate any issues to the event manager.
- Ensure all service areas are clean and organized.
- Work with other banquet servers kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth operation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods.

- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- Previous service experience an asset
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
