Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Business Analyst fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Analysis of business functional and technologyrelated needs requirements and specifications;
- Analysis of stakeholders organisational structures business processes data flows and business models;
- Production of documents relating to information systems (user guides etc.);
- Provision of quality plans underpinning contracts service level agreements quality control and evaluation plans;
- Testing and acceptance of deliverables provided by Suppliers (thirdparty contractors or otherwise);
- Define quality test and acceptance procedures and criteria;
- Undertaking the implementation/execution of a project management methodology;
- Followup of information systemsrelated activities;
- Participation in business functional and technical working groups progress meetings and meetings with the business/users.
Requirements
- Master degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with at least 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- At least 10 years of experience in business functional and technical analysis as well as quality procedures;
- At least 10 years of experience in conducting studies in the design and building of IT systems (e.g. quality security requirement analysis technical or functional domain);
- At least 10 years of experience in IT PM methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 PMM4EP/ENGAGE etc.) with IT governance and management frameworks (e.g. COBIT etc.) and with analysis tools (mind mapping root cause analysis etc.);
- At least 10 years of experience in application of analytical methodologies and techniques;
- Expertise in information systems architecture software design testing training acquired through information systems implementation and maintenance;
- Indepth knowledge of methodologies processes tools and frameworks for software development (e.g. Agile/Scrum iterative Waterfall etc.) design and modelling (e.g. prototyping design patterns use cases BPM/BPMN UML etc.) as well as Atlassian;
- Excellent command of the English language.

Details:
Position: Senior Business Analyst

Rate: onsite daily up to 600 euros max including your commission depending on experience

Due to special security clearance we may only proceed with EU candidates.
Would like European Commission experience
Want candidates to be working long years at each position (no short contracts or job hopping)
Ideally to start working in FebMar 2025
