Role: Project Coordinator for Disaster Response Bangalore
Experience: 2 years
Salary: Up to 7 LPA

About Donatkart Foundation:

Donatekart is an ecosystem of over 10 million donors 1500 NGOs and 200 corporates across India. Instead of traditional monetary donations we have raised over 150 crores worth of goods. Through their CSR programmes corporations can use Donatekarts innovative methodology to provide the essentials that are delivered right to the beneficiarys door. Donatekart has been striving to end hunger since 2016. Through more than 500 programmes and partner NGOs we served more than 20 million meals at 102 venues around India.

DonateKarts objective is to work with businesses to execute their CSR programmes throughout the current fiscal year in order to support our PDR (Personalized Disaster Response) project.

About Disaster Response Relief Project:

We at Donatekart foundation took an initiative to engage corporates in collaboration with groups and Organizations who specialize in disaster response for our PDR (Personalized Disaster Response) under CSR.

Its time to understand the role that disaster response plays in the present sustainable development paradigm. It must be conceptually merged into more extensive programmes or used as a part of a whole. Instead of confining ourselves to just one CSR project to solve the recurring issue we frequently encounter in India our goal is to make it our mission to be there anytime a catastrophe happens.

Roles:

  • Work on the processes of receiving NGO request through different platforms
  • NGO Verification and Selection: Work with team to vet the eligible NGOs KYC & due diligence telephonic verification and receive detail disaster information
  • Confirmation email to selected NGOs after budget has been allocated by the corporate
  • Orientation: Set up an orientation call with selected NGOs for demonstration of Distribution activity Banner placement size way of taking photograph reporting format and timeline expectation of delivery in execution
  • Frequent communication and coordination with NGOs for executing the project Product delivery PRL receive Distribution timeline short reporting and updates
  • Responsible to hold a feedback call for all the involved NGOs in the Disaster Project
  • Work with internal team to prepare an impact reports and other documentation

  • Knowledge and experience in different project management frameworks including disaster response.

  • Ability to quickly learn understand and apply new technologies.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in project management business management or related area of study.
  • 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope timelines profitability and effective delivery of products or services.
  • Experience in managing external and internal facing project deliverables.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industrystandard word processing spreadsheet and presentation software programs.
