Job Title: Nursing Manager
Location: Enugu
Salary Range: N300000.00 (postprobationary salary can go up to N800000.00 depending on skill and experience level)
Accommodation: Firstyear accommodation available
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Manager to lead our dynamic nursing team in a hospital setting. The Nursing Manager will provide leadership strategic oversight and direct nursing care services to ensure highquality patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills a deep understanding of modern nursing practices and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead manage and oversee nursing teams to ensure highquality patient care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to foster professional development and adherence to best practices.
Set clear goals and expectations for nursing staff promoting a highperformance culture.
Manage performance appraisals supporting meritbased compensation and promotion systems.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and organizational standards.
Oversee the implementation of modern nursing procedures driving innovation and efficiency.
Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements as necessary.
Manage nursing budgets and resources to optimize department operations.
Foster a positive work environment and facilitate teambuilding activities.
Maintain accurate records and reports on nursing staff and patient care.
Qualifications/Experience:
10 15 years of postqualification experience in a hospital setting.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior nursing leadership position.
Valid practicing nursing license.
Valid certifications in BLS ACLS and/or PALS.
Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Word MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
Experience using Health Management Systems.
Other Requirements:
A firm personality with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
Ability to set SMART (Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant Timebound) goals and monitor progress.
Strong understanding and interest in modern and innovative nursing procedures.
Ability to lead performance appraisal efforts and promote a meritbased compensation and promotion system.
