Position Overview Role: Legal Assistant Commercial Litigation/Finance
Experience: 25 years in litigation law
Skills: Strong organizational and technical skills with a focus on case management and client services.
Key Responsibilities -
Case Management:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management.
- Maintain confidential files records and legal documents.

Document Preparation:
- Prepare proofread and finalize legal and real estate documents.
- Edit and format documents accurately.
- Handle efiling in state federal and appellate courts.

Administrative Support:
- Schedule travel appointments meetings and maintain attorney calendars.
- Submit intake and conflicts checks.
- Process time entry and manage client billing.

Other Duties:
- Provide general office support as needed.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications -
Experience:
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in litigation law.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Adobe Professional.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems (e.g. FileSite is a plus).

Soft Skills:
- Detailoriented with excellent grammar and spelling.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Proactive flexible and a team player.

- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing urgent tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Availability to work overtime when necessary.
