WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
The Sales Engineer is responsible for understanding all the technical aspects of our business and explaining to our customers our value proposition. Theyre responsible for reviewing and analyzing the customers needs based on drawings designs ideas or other information and providing details for customers as to how our offerings can successfully accomplish their needs.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how our products and services work.
- Work with our Customers and Engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements through feasibility studies and assessments.
- Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
- Secure orders guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
- Increase sales credibility profitability hit rate market share and customer satisfaction scores.
- Establish Customer rapport and acceptance.
- Assist the Director of Sales Operations to achieve goals of their department. This includes B&P and CRM upkeep.
- Plan for modifications to products and services to meet consumer demands.
- Help Clients to solve problems with services/product usage.
- Work with organizational leaders to identify and penetrate new growing/emerging market segments.
- Recommend new and improved services/solutions to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more costeffective and efficient for the Customers needs.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT
- Bachelors degree in sales marketing analytics business engineering construction or related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of prior experience in the operations and/or sales engineering in construction or engineering industry preferably in telecommunications including fiber and cellular/wireless hyperscale and/or electrical grid.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Ability to focus on details while still operating within tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to develop guide lead and deliver technical presentations to workinglevels through Clevels .
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technology to streamline work and processes.
- Solid experience with CRMs such as Zoho or NetSuite or Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
