Job Description
Pay Rate: $ 19.00 / hour
We have partnered with a large manufacturing company in the Garland TX area to provide them with a Lab Technician. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Lab Technician:
#1. High School Degree or equivalent.
#2. Lab experience
#3. Must be able with or without reasonable accommodation to determine the difference between colors so you can correctly tint paint to the colors desired by customers.
Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:
- Cleans maintains and calibrates standard equipment and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding tasks and requests; receives direction from other technicians or chemists on specialized or complex issues.
- Performs basic calculations to prepare perform and conclude samples.
- Performs basic technical tests and analyses based on formulas and project requirements; tasks are more standard and require limited judgment within established guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prepares basic samples materials equipment and other required tools for laboratory tests or development.
- Performs coating spray application.
Other Key Requirements for Lab Technician:
- This is a temp to perm position though there is no timeline for conversion at this point.
- First shift position start time is flexible and can range between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM.
- Onsite opportunity
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
