Key Responsibilities:

• Patient care: Provide general nursing care monitor vital signs and evaluate patients progress
• Medication: Administer intravenous fluids and oxygen and ensure patients receive medications safely
• Communication: Communicate with patients doctors family members and other healthcare team members
• Patient records: Maintain patient records complete paperwork and create care plans
• Critical thinking: Assess patients conditions quickly and accurately and make informed decisions
• Patient counseling: Provide health education information about disease and treatment and help with daily activities
• Psychological support: Provide support to patients and their families
• Teamwork: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and may take charge of the ICU in the absence of seniors
• Medical emergencies: Respond to medical emergencies and alert the appropriate doctors
• Infection prevention: Adhere to hospital policies to prevent infection

Qualifications:

• Current RN ICU certification in California (dont leave home without it!).
• Hospital experience is a plus but were happy to train enthusiastic RN ICU who love to learn.
• Excellent communication skillsextra points if you can throw in a great dad joke!
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (but dont worry no capes required).

Pay: $78.00 $86.00 per hour (plus we promise itll come with good vibes!)
Expected hours: 36 per week (with coffee breaks snack breaks and well more breaks!)
