Job Description
Location: Grass Valley CA
Start Date: 1/7/2025
Employment Type:
Shift: Night shifts
Pay: $3276 per week
Expected Hours: 36 hours per week
Unit: Family Birthing Center
# beds: L&D 4 MB 8
Certs: BLS ACLS NRP and Advanced Fetal Monitoring are required.
At least 2 year of L&D experience.
Ratios: L&D 1:2 1:1 active delivery. MB 1:4 (couplets)
EMR: Cerner
Floating: No
Responsible for L&D or MB.
Floor specific orientation: 2 3 days on the floor with preceptor.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 45 deliveries/month. Standard L&D term preterm couplets. No high risk. Transfer mothers 34 weeks and below. Newborns on IV antibiotics and/or short term O2. General GYN patients as well. 2 RNs and 1 RT during every delivery.
