The Workday Project Manager will be responsible for managing medium to large and/or complex ERP programs and projects throughout AltaMed and its affiliated business.

This role will be mainly focus on HR/Payroll projects and will be supporting Finance Supply Chain and reporting projects as needed.

Experience and knowledge about HR are essential.

This may include but is not limited to Workday or technology that integrates with Workday to support the patient care outcomes and/or business results.

The focus will be to design plan manage and implement the highest priority strategic business initiatives with significant financial process information systems and organizational impacts that span across multiple business lines and functions.

Key attributes include the ability to effectively communicate and interact with senior business leaders and other project and program sponsors quickly and comprehensively assess and address issues associated with supported initiatives and the ability to identify and implement improvements within the overall project delivery process.

The incumbent will be expected to support and utilize company Project Management Standards and Software Development Lifecycle best practices and to contribute in the departments effort to institutionalize project management program management change management and lean processes throughout the enterprise.

This position reports directly to the responsible IT AVP with direct functional alignment to the Workday Program and Technical Leaders.

Active Workday PM certification.

Certification in Workday HCM or other Workday HR subject areas is a plus.

Expertise in Workday methodology.

Knowledge of major HR functions and familiar with end to end HR business processes.

3 years experience required.

Project Life Cycle Implementation experience with medium to large corporate systems managing complex enterprise projects and leading and directing work across various functional teams and vendor services.

3 years experience required.

Experience in managing project implementations including but not limited to: Workday other ERP technology business transformation business intelligence within the healthcare industry. 3 years experience required.

Knowledge of Strategic Planning to plan and facilitate discussions/ sessions to elicit and translate business needs into technology requirements and longterm strategies; Ability to focus on business outcomes and ensure successful technology adoption.

Technology Project Management expertise and experience in managing the overall performance and delivery of large crossfunctional system development projects and the ability manage and develop scope project plan schedules issues budget and effectively communicate status of projects and requests.

Experience in using project management tools such as MS Project and Monday.com.

Strong 3rd party developer vendor and supplier management including sourcing and oversight of 3rd party vendors developers and suppliers.

Demonstrated experience in technical business analysis to assess the impact of new project and business requests processes and data changes on systems.

Demonstrated understanding of requirements elicitation analysis specification verification and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice.

Ability to analyse and recommend how to improve user experience and reengineer business/ technology processes.

Understanding Quality Assurance to develop test plans in partnership with Information Technology Services 3rd party vendors and other internal stakeholders and the ability to develop test cases for new designs that validate the process and the system solution and ability to execute testing for bug fixes and new capabilities being released.

Excellent communication skills to communicate fluently crossfunctionally through the enterprise including escalation and mitigation of issues risks and business impacts.

Knowledge of product and project management concepts and how enterprise software products are positioned and developed.

Demonstrated understanding of technical design specifications.

Demonstrated understanding in the areas of application programming database and system design.

Demonstrated understanding of how legacy and webbased systems interface with each other.

Use case and activity diagram development (using software like Visio).

Experience with prioritization and project management (from a documentation perspective).

Strong documentation skills.

Analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources reconcile conflicts decompose highlevel information into details abstract up from lowlevel information to a more general understanding distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

Bachelors degree in business HR computer engineering computer science or technical discipline required

Minimum 3 years of experience required in project management with successful deployment demonstrating measurable positive results including

Strong industry knowledge and a minimum 3 years of experience in health care project management or process improvement required

Minimum 3 years experience end toend Workday phase 1 or phase x projects desired.

Change Management and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certifications strongly preferred

Excellent technical writing ability (requirements and documentation).
