Overview:
The CI/CD Engineer will support USPSs DevSecOps initiatives by providing expert guidance and technical support for cloud and onprem infrastructure platforms and applications.
Position: DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer
Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Development and Management:
- Design build test and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate workflows using GitHub Actions and integrate CI/CD components like Terraform Trivy Megalinter and ServiceNow.
- Develop pipelines with tools like GitHub GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Create infrastructure designs using Terraform and Ansible.
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure across AWS GCP Azure and onprem environments.
- Container and Kubernetes Management:
- Manage container registries and support Kubernetes clusters (AKS GKE EKS ROSA Rancher).
- Collaboration and Process Improvement:
- Work with teams to tailor CI/CD pipelines to project needs.
- Automate security processes including vulnerability scanning and monitoring.
- Operational Support and Knowledge Sharing:
- Troubleshoot CI/CD issues and serve as a highlevel support resource.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
- Documentation and Prioritization:
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes and configurations.
- Prioritize projects and tasks as directed by leadership.
Requirement Qualifications:
- Certifications:
- Preferred: GitHub Certification or Cloud Certifications (AWS GCP Azure).
- Experience:
- 5 7 years of experience in technology or software development preferably in DevSecOps or cloud infrastructure.
- Education:
- A degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Without a degree an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Additional Information:
- Role involves managing both cloud and onprem infrastructure.
Candidate Details:
- Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline management IaC and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work collaboratively and mentor junior team members.
