Location: New York NY
Duration : FullTime Role
Job Description:
Must have:
Expertise in Investment management Domain.
Security Master (Identifier matching and handling security data from different sources such as Bloomberg Morning Star etc).
Bloomberg DL or DL (Data Management Services Bloomberg Professional Services / Data License Bloomberg Professional Services).
Background in security master products like Markit EDM Eagle PACE Golden Source FactSet etc.
Responsibilities:
Hands on experience of Markit EDM (Core and UI) application. Candidate should be able to design EDM solutions independently.
Requirement gathering analysis of data and modelling in EDM solutions to build an E2E business workflow.
Must be comfortable with data analysis.
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and code as per the EDM best practices.
Exposure to Market Data provider like Bloomberg Reuters Morningstar etc.
Experience in one or more of the Asset Management or Wealth Management domain areas.
Approach problem solving in an analytical and systematic way.
Practical experience of agile methodologies and tools.
Strong communication skills to interact with Business users for purposes of issue resolution or requirement gathering.
Generic Managerial Skills:
10 years development experience within financial/Investment sector.
Excellent oral & written communication skills.
Selfmotivated individual with critical thinking skills and able to work independently.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Flexibility to work outside a typical 9 to 5 workday.
Experience in production support of critical business applications.
