Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Springdale AR 72764 (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension or Hire)
Shift: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
The Accounts Payable Clerk will focus on managing LTL carriers aging reports ensuring accurate billing and payment processing. This role involves collaboration with team members and direct supervision from the manager with training provided on internal transportation software.
Key Responsibilities- Review and manage aging reports for LTL carriers.
- Process and add unplanned charges such as layover or detention fees.
- Collaborate with carriers to ensure additional funds are accurately billed and paid.
- Perform tasks under team guidance without requiring independent judgment.
- Experience: Basic accounting experience is required; transportation experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided on proprietary software.
- Soft Skills: Punctual teamoriented flexible and able to take direction effectively.
This role is ideal for individuals with a foundation in accounting and an interest in gaining transportation industry experience while working in a supportive team environment.
