Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Excellent employment opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician in the Frederick MD area.
- The Material Handlers follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in daily activities.
- Performs receiving picking shipping equipment monitoring and material control.
- Revises SOPs. Initiates and completes deviations as required.
- Provides leadership to other team members.
- Material Handler I: (Primary responsibilities but these individuals could also take on some Material Handler II and III responsibilities which can be seen below)
Picks for production at FMC
Picks / delivery for production at GPF
General supply maintenance
NonGMP receiving
NonGMP deliveries
Paper/FedEx supplies in admin area
Routine cleaning
Material handling equipment / fleet maintenance
NonGMP and GMP material shipments (excluding hazmat)
Management of LN2 cylinders
Cycle counts
Train others on appropriate tasks/systems
Coordination of receiving dock
Support OE/6S mind set
Experience:
- Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certificates Licenses Registrations:
Drivers license required.
Forklift certification a plus. - The ability to prioritize work requirements must be well organized and able to manage time efficiently and must have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Computer Skills:
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook EXCEL and Word a plus.
- Experience using SAP a plus.
- Shift Scheduled:
- Some weekends
- Will be rotating 4 10s plus flex
- The schedule consists of 4 10hr days per week with varying days off in between each shift
- The schedule is as follows: 4 days on 1 day off / 4 days on 2 days off/ 4days on 3 days off/ 4 days on 6 days off
- Day shift. We can be flexible with the timing but it would be 8am7pm 7am6pm (1 hour lunch included in those hours)
