Job Description

Position: Project Manager
Location: Richmond VA 23219
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the DMAS Project Management Office. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of IT and business projects utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. This role requires strong vendor management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle including planning execution and closeout of IT and business initiatives.
  • Utilize MS Project to create detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Manage project budgets schedules risks and stakeholder communications.
  • Produce project dashboards and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Create workflows user stories and project requirements as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • 10 years managing large projects and leading teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Visio.
  • Active PMP certification.
