Job role: Service Now Project Manager
Duration: 6Month contract with option to hire
Location: Austin TX 78712 OnSite Tuesday only (1 day onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ITSM Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in streamlining our IT Service Management processes and implementing a robust ServiceNow solution.
Responsibilities:
- Service Offering Identification: Collaborate with IT leadership to identify and prioritize critical service offerings.
- Workflow and Documentation: Develop and document efficient workflows to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Campus Service Desk Communication: Foster effective communication with the campus service desk to enhance service coordination.
ServiceNow Implementation:
- Create a comprehensive service catalog to accurately represent our IT services.
- Load the service catalog into the ServiceNow platform.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow to optimize its functionality.
Project Management:
- Develop and execute detailed project plans to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and best practices
- Proven experience with ServiceNow including service catalog creation and configuration
- Excellent project management skills including planning execution and monitoring
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Microsoft Teams and Copilot
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Jira
- Background in education or a related field
