Job Description
Experience: 6 to 10 years
Required Skills:
Palo Alto
CICS Administration
Cisco VPN
Switching & Routing (Cisco)
Responsibilities:
Ensures Security Compliance: Monitors and enforces adherence to security standards policies and procedures.
Project Implementation: Oversees or directly implements internal client projects providing feedback and guidance to team members as needed.
Escalation Point: Serves as a Level 4 escalation point for the support team addressing complex issues.
Staff Development: Participates in the technical development of staff including training and mentoring team members.
Training Programs: Develops and conducts comprehensive Information Security training programs.
Technical Leadership: Acts as a technical expert and lead for departmental engineers and architects.
Advanced Network Support: Functions as a Level IV Network Engineer providing advanced functional and technical support.
Additional Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Cisco and Palo Alto with Palo Alto experience being essential.
IT Experience: 710 years of IT experience including over 5 years in networking technical domains computer architecture and operating systems (primarily LINUX Windows and Mobile).
Information Security: Strong background in information security with a deep understanding of business concepts such as financial requirements compliance and risk management.
Project Management: Proven experience in managing large complex implementations and deployments of security tools and programs.
