Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Information Architect to optimize and enhance information flow and data models for missioncritical systems in Washington DC. This role involves developing sustainable solutions for information quality aligning data architecture with organizational goals and collaborating with stakeholders to define and implement efficient data practices.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to capture current information flow and define business and data domains.
- Develop comprehensive information models (Level 0 1 2 3 etc.) for missioncritical systems.
- Identify and resolve information flow gaps across systems in collaboration with service and application owners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance information quality across major systems.
- Partner with technology teams and architects to deliver resilient metadata solutions and operational excellence.
- Review strategic initiatives to ensure consistent and aligned information flow across downstream systems.
- Establish infrastructure processes and best practices for Power BI.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience in information architecture or related fields.
- Strong skills in developing data flow and information models for complex systems.
- Ability to work with stakeholders data stewards and technical experts to define targetstate data architecture.
- Proficiency in tools like Power BI and expertise in establishing best practices for its use.
- Exceptional communication and problemsolving abilities.
