Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement content strategies for largescale websites and digital assets.
- Write structure and optimize content for websites applications chatbots and user guides with a focus on user needs.
- Conduct content audits keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
- Use data analytics and user feedback to refine and improve content performance.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy plain language compliance and service design alignment.
- Maintain content governance ensuring updates align with State Content Guidelines and accessibility standards.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in UX Web Design Communications Marketing English Journalism or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in website content writing copywriting and digital content optimization.
- Expertise in SEO including technical and onpage strategies with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and keyword research platforms.
- Proficient with content management systems (e.g. Sitecore 10.2 preferred) and content marketing tools.
- Strong communication organizational and project management skills; familiarity with tools like Jira Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
- Knowledge of content lifecycle management digital content standards and plain language guidelines.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
- A portfolio of published online content showcasing expertise in content creation and strategy is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with chatbots search consoles and helpdesk services.
