Job Description
Job Title: Truck Driver
Location: Calgary Alberta
Salary: $25$30/hour
Shift Hours: 810 hours per day
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truck Driver to join our team in Calgary Alberta. The role involves operating a variety of vehicles and equipment for waste collection and transportation. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving abstract strong work ethic and be committed to a longterm role with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate garbage trucks and other specialized vehicles to collect and transport garbage recycling and waste materials.
- Perform preoperational checks and routine maintenance tasks including lubrication refueling and cleaning of equipment.
- Secure special attachments and operate equipment safely and effectively for designated tasks.
- Pick up and transport recycling waste from city locations and dump loads at designated sites.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license (Class 3 or equivalent) with a clean abstract.
- Experience operating garbage trucks and other specialized equipment is preferred.
- Ability to conduct routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles.
- Strong commitment to safety efficiency and teamwork.
- Willingness to work longterm with the company.
