What you will be doing:
- Play a crucial role in the accounting department with monthend close activities and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Perform revenue recognition manage fixed assets prepare and record depreciation entries manage prepaid expenses and handle account reconciliations.
- Support various accounting projects and integration projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Ensure all monthend and yearend close activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and review journal entries and ensure all financial data is properly recorded.
- Maintain the integrity of the company’s financial records by reconciling all balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Identify analyze and resolve discrepancies promptly to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support ongoing ERP integrations and other accountingrelated projects.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to optimize the company’s financial systems and processes.
- Manage job costing and project accounting functions.
- Invest time in gathering analyzing and interpreting financial information from other departments.
- Implement and facilitate internal control procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during financial reviews and audits.
- Perform daily bank matching to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in ERP.
- Focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
Experience you will need:
- Experience with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Experience with revenue and deferred revenue principles in accounting software.
- Experience with full cycle accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
