Investment Risk Analyst
We are excited to announce an open role for our client in the insurance industry. This position within the Investment Risk Solutions team supports the Global Wealth & Asset Management segment. It offers the opportunity to contribute to cuttingedge investment risk initiatives collaborating with stakeholders to oversee risks across diverse portfolios. This hybrid role provides flexibility competitive compensation and the potential for longterm career growth.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $30 to $32 based on experience.
8month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Schedule hours: Weekdays with a start time between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday (flexibility for alternative arrangements).

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with investment risk specialists to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
Develop advanced dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau to visualize complex investment risk data.
Manage and optimize risk data infrastructure ensuring integrity and accessibility across systems like data lakes warehouses and pipelines.
Enhance the quality of risk data and processes delivering reliable insights through accurate risk assessments.
Maintain effective risk reporting and monitoring tools for stakeholders.
Partner with IT data science and related teams for seamless data integration and workflow efficiency.
Prioritize and selfmanage task queues to deliver highquality work on schedule.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Mathematics or a related field.
Progress towards CFA FRM or other related certifications is an asset.
1 to 2 years of experience in investment/financial services preferably within a buyside investment management firm or related institution.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau.
Strong analytical skills including statistical analysis and large dataset manipulation.
Proficiency in SQL for developing and managing database queries.
Interest in exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance data insights and risk management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
