Responsibilities
- To uphold a high quality of nursing care and a constant awareness of the patients priority in relation to all clinical actions.
- To establish and encourage positive workplace relationships.
- Should act in a way that aligns with the Clinics principles.
- To guarantee that every patient receives individualised care and that confidentiality and privacy are always upheld.
- To engage in the Continuous Quality Improvement philosophy actively and the Clinics Accreditation program.
- As needed keep the theatre manager and CNMs informed of any problems.
Requirements
- Be qualified to register on the General Division of the live register with An Bord Altranais as a Registered Nurse.
- While not required a recognised theatre or anaesthesia course is preferred.
- Ideally has prior orthopaedic experience and three years of postregistration theatre experience
- Be computer savvy and have experience managing patient care while upholding the highest professional standards through an evidencebased and care planning approach.
- Possess demonstrated writing and vocal communication skills as well as outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Possess the capacity to operate independently set priorities oversee multiple tasks at once and show attention to detail. They should also be able to recognise possible problems and come up with solutions.
