Group Head of Data Management

As the new Group Head of Data Management (reporting to Group CFO) you will drive innovation and data transformation across all areas of the business.

You will lead a talented team of senior data professionals collaborate with top leadership and integrate cuttingedge data technologies to unlock new business insights & implement innovative Group initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement an enterprisewide data strategy aligned with business objectives nurturing a datadriven culture and leading the adoption of datacentric decisionmaking processes
- Data Governance: Establish and manage a data governance framework to ensure data quality security privacy and compliance while defining and enforcing data policies and best practices
- Data Infrastructure & Architecture: Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure ensuring efficient data storage retrieval and sharing and optimizing data pipelines in collaboration with IT and engineering teams
- Data Analytics & Insights: Lead the application of advanced analytics AI and machine learning to drive business insights identify opportunities for operational improvements and monitor data performance to inform strategic initiatives
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Align data initiatives with business goals by collaborating with senior executives in finance marketing and IT and integrating datadriven insights into broader organizational strategies
- Data Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) implement risk mitigation strategies for sensitive data and safeguard privacy and security throughout the data lifecycle
- Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a highperforming Data Management Team promote data literacy across the organization and cultivate a collaborative datadriven culture.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Data Science Information Management or Computer Science
- Extensive experience (10 years) in data management analytics or information governance roles
- Proven track record in senior leadership positions overseeing data strategy and operations in large organizations
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance frameworks architecture and regulatory compliance
- Mastery of data analytics machine learning techniques and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
- Exceptional leadership abilities coupled with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of relevant tools & technology such as:
Data Warehousing & Lakes: AWS Redshift Google BigQuery Azure Data Lake Snowflake
Data Analytics & BI: Tableau Power BI Looker Google Analytics Apache Hadoop
Data Governance: Collibra Informatica Talend Alation
AI/ML Frameworks: TensorFlow PyTorch DataRobot H2O.ai
Cloud Platforms: AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud Platform
