Job Description
A wellregarded medical facility near Greenville South Carolina is looking for a Patient Educator PrEP to join their team as a permanent fulltime hire! Comprehensive Benefits Package!
Patient Educator Opportunity:
- Employment Type: Fulltime with direct hire status
- Work Schedule: Day Shifts MondayFriday from 8 am to 5 pm
- Registered Nurse will complete intake and assessment of risk for HIV as well as related health issues.
- Registered Nurse will provide education on risk reduction and health interventions including selfmanagement goal setting counseling and training on habits lifestyle changes as well as other tools to manage overall health.
- Registered Nurse will understand laboratory testing orders immunizations TB skin testing and referrals for preventive health needs.
- Registered Nurse will document assessments education goals outcomes and updates in the patient s EHR for review by the practitioner.
Patient Educator PrEP Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
- Required 3 years of RN or LPN experience
- Required South Carolina Licensure
- Patient education and HIV Knowledge is a plus
