Job Description
An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Night Porter to join the Raffles London at the OWO.
Reporting into Assistant Manager Housekeeper you will work closely with the evening room attendants evening housekeeper to provide all necessary supplies and amenities to guest rooms to maximum guest satisfaction by providing an intuitive service. To act as an ambassador of the Raffles Values during your interactions with guests and colleagues.
Specifically as the Night Porter:
- Accepting and distributing of incoming deliveries according to SOP
- Responding to guest requests in a timely manner
- Supporting evening team to deliver the service
- Ensuring service areas/ guest corridors and back of house stairs are always kept clean and tidy
- Respecting guest privacy by being quiet and respectful in the corridors and the service space
- Using the chemicals according to the training / COSSH
- Additional responsibilities in absence of line manager or senior employee
- Performing other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant than usually assigned
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage rooms to ensure an outstanding 5star environment and seamless guest experience
- Adhering to the grooming standards your uniform is well presented clean and ironed
