Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Middle School Math Teacher to join a vibrant educational community for an August 2025 Start. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students ensuring that each student gains a strong foundation in math concepts and develops a positive attitude toward problemsolving and critical thinking.

The school founded in 2016 is a K12 international school located at the foot of the picturesque and historic YuQuan Mountain Haidian District in Beijing. The campus is 200000 square meters of beautiful gardens that integrate natural ecology cultural heritage and modern beauty with 140000 square meters of green space.
The school curriculum is organized into the Elementary School grades K5 the Middle School grades 68 and High School grades 912. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Educations nineyear compulsory education program the curriculum is built on the strength from both Chinese and western education.
For Elementary and Middle School the school follows a bilingual program using the US Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards along with the Chinese National Curriculum.
For High School the school follows the US Common Core and College Board AP curriculum and also offers the UK IGCSE and ALevel UK programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Fouryear degree from an accredited university
Bachelor of Education PGCE Teaching license: QTS national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent
Three years of experience teaching in a bilingual school international school or government/state school/
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the curriculum and designed to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Teach topics across the middle school math curriculum including algebra geometry fractions decimals percentages and other essential math concepts.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that promotes active student participation.
- Develop and implement assessments including quizzes tests and projects to evaluate student progress and understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Analyze student performance data and use it to inform and adjust instructional practices to improve learning outcomes.
- Provide individualized support for students who require additional assistance and challenge those who are excelling.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of the math curriculum and participate in interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress assignments and classroom activities.
- Incorporate technology and realworld applications into math lessons to make learning relevant and engaging.
- Stay uptodate with developments in math education and pedagogy and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Create a positive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and ensures the emotional social and academic growth of students.
- Participate in schoolwide activities such as staff meetings parentteacher conferences and extracurricular programs.
