Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of this Quality Technician are as follows:
- Involvement in the day to day functions of the Laboratory, including;
- Preparation of custom compound test samples.
- QC testing of custom compounds.
- Preparation of samples for customers.
- Provision of laboratory support for production.
- Complaint investigation.
- Filing and archiving of all QC test data and batch documentation.
- Organize QC sample retains.
- Ensure a high level of housekeeping within the laboratory.
- Health & Safety projects.
- Assistance to manufacturing operations.
In order to be considered for the position of Quality Technician you must have the following skills and experience:
- HNC / Degree ideally based in a science/technical subject.
- Working experience in a silicone/rubber material physical testing laboratory would be an advantage.
