Job Description

CK Group are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician, on a 3 month contract basis, for one of the world's largest producers of silicones and silicone derivatives and a global leader in the development and manufacture of these products based in the North West.


The duties and responsibilities of this Quality Technician are as follows:

  • Involvement in the day to day functions of the Laboratory, including;
  • Preparation of custom compound test samples.
  • QC testing of custom compounds.
  • Preparation of samples for customers.
  • Provision of laboratory support for production.
  • Complaint investigation.
  • Filing and archiving of all QC test data and batch documentation.
  • Organize QC sample retains.
  • Ensure a high level of housekeeping within the laboratory.
  • Health & Safety projects.
  • Assistance to manufacturing operations.

In order to be considered for the position of Quality Technician you must have the following skills and experience:
  • HNC / Degree ideally based in a science/technical subject.
  • Working experience in a silicone/rubber material physical testing laboratory would be an advantage.
