Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Duty Engineer to join our team in LapuLapu City Philippines. As a Duty Engineer you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our facilitys engineering systems and equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate daily engineering operations including staff briefings and work assignments
- Manage planned and unplanned maintenance programs for various systems including airconditioning electrical refrigeration and fire & life safety equipment
- Supervise team members ensuring safe work practices and efficient operations
- Monitor and manage contractor work ensuring compliance with health and safety policies
- Prepare consumption reports on power water steam and gas
- Develop and maintain staff training programs including induction for new employees
- Create weekly staff schedules and conduct performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with hotel fire & life safety and emergency procedures
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and adhere to hotel policies
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant license
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in Engineering Repair and Maintenance preferably in a hospitality setting
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems equipment and energy conservation practices
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and organizational skills
- Proven leadership experience with outstanding communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineeringrelated software
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in facility management
- Ability to work under pressure handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
