Are you an operations leader ready to make an impact in a dynamic legal environment A small litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence and oversee the daytoday operations of the firm.

The firm is committed to delivering exceptional legal services while fostering a collaborative and efficient workplace. As a growing firm with a dedicated team of 12 they are looking for a strategic and handson leader to streamline our operations and help achieve thier longterm goals.

Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer will report directly to the firms Managing Partner and be responsible for overseeing all nonlegal operations including staff management business strategy implementation and operational efficiency. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a small fastpaced environment and can balance strategy with execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the firms staff of 12 ensuring high performance and engagement.
  • Oversee and improve operational processes including finance HR IT and office management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the firms growth and efficiency goals.
  • Manage budgets financial forecasting and resource allocation in collaboration with leadership.
  • Streamline workflows and implement tools and technologies to improve productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Partner with firm leadership to execute the strategic vision and achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Excellent leadership problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operational tools and systems
