Job Description:
As a member of the Maintenance Team the Carpenter/Painter attends to the care and maintenance of the building and the completion of assigned property improvement projects. Provides detailed service and attention to the interior and exterior of the property. Completes all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner to meet Gateway service and safety standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
Organized and detailoriented.
Minimum 3 years experience in plaster repair.
Ability to interact successfully with owners renters vendors contractors and all levels of staff.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal.
Ability to work in an environment that requires walking bending ladder use and carrying up to 50 lbs.
JOB DUTIES
Receives and completes oral or written assignments from the Chief Engineer
Schedule with the owner ahead to announce the visit.
Performs carpentry and painting repairs around the property as needed.
Participates in general painting and repair work within condo units.
Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs to the building and owners units.
