Unified Communications (UC) Technician/ Voice Tech/NOC

Pay rate $ 30 to 35/hr
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and customerfriendly Unified Communications (UC) Technician with a strong background in UC systems and analog telephony. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco IM & Presence (IM&P). Additionally the candidate should possess a solid understanding of analog telephony including the use of a buttset and performing punch downs.
Key Responsibilities:
- UC Systems Management: Install configure and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco IM & Presence (IM&P). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UC systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional support to customers addressing their UCrelated inquiries and issues. Conduct onsite visits to troubleshoot and resolve UC and analog telephony issues.
- Analog Telephony: Perform punch downs and other analog telephony tasks. Utilize a buttset for testing and troubleshooting analog lines.
- Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to UC and analog telephony systems. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of communication systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of UC and analog telephony systems configurations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco IM & Presence (IM&P).
- Strong understanding of analog telephony including the use of a buttset and performing punch downs.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in Cisco Unified Communications.
- Experience with other UC platforms and technologies.
- Previous experience in a customerfacing technical support role.
