Job Description
Position Title: Enterprise Architect (US Citizen Only)
Job Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously assess emerging technologies and trends recommending appropriate solutions for the business.
- Design and document the enterprise architecture across all domains including applications data technology and business processes.
- Establish and enforce architecture standards policies and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in solution design.
- Maintain the architecture repository ensuring proper documentation version control and compliance with industry standards.
- Evaluate the current IT environment and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work with solution architects and development teams to guide the design and implementation of enterprisewide applications and systems.
- Ensure that architectural principles and best practices are followed in the development and deployment of new systems.
- Oversee the integration of new solutions with legacy systems and infrastructure ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business units IT teams and thirdparty vendors regarding enterprise architecture decisions.
- Provide guidance and support in the selection of new technologies tools and methodologies.
- Facilitate crossdepartment collaboration to ensure that architectural solutions meet both functional and nonfunctional requirements (security performance scalability etc.).
- Ensure that all technology solutions adhere to relevant security compliance and regulatory standards.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks that could impact the businesss operational effectiveness or security posture.
- Establish disaster recovery and business continuity strategies aligned with the enterprise architecture.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the enterprise architecture making adjustments as needed to optimize performance and cost.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.
- Experience in IT architecture with at least 5 years in an enterprise architect role or similar senior technical position.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprisescale IT solutions and infrastructure.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF Zachman or FEAF.
- Strong background in IT strategy development and enterpriselevel systems integration.
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and SaaS architectures.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture network infrastructure cloud services data management and application development.
- Experience with various development methodologies (Agile Waterfall DevOps) and project management tools.
- Proficiency in modeling and diagramming tools (e.g. ArchiMate UML etc.).
- Experience with security standards and protocols (e.g. IAM encryption etc.).
- Knowledge of modern enterprise technologies including microservices containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
- Certified TOGAF or other architecture certification preferred.
- Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
