Job Description
Our client is a Minnesota company who manufactures and markets many branded consumer products. Their history dates back to the mid 1800s.

Our client has an opportunity on the 2nd shift for Machine Operator / Food Lab Technicians. In this role the Technician will be involved in basic equipment set up for sanitation and running equipment for trials.
- Safely operate equipment
- Perform risk assessments
- Perform basic analytical tests; troubleshooting as needed
- Equipment sanitation and basic equipment set up activities
Salary: $21/ hr (6month contract)
Schedule: MonFri 2nd shift (2pm 10pm) OT as needed (Training on 1st shift)

Location: onsite Minneapolis MN 55427
Qualifications
- High School Degree Required!
- 35 years of directly relatable experience and / or 2Year Degree Preferred!
- Comfortable working in a food processing plant / environment
- Comfortable operating equipment / machine operator experience
- Previous experience in a food processing laboratory foodservice environment
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule for Training and Production needs (training is on first shift then transitions to assigned shift)
- Ability to work OT as needed before and after your shift (approx. 4 hours)
- Ability to work weekends as needed
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Collaborative Team Player
- Basic computer/technology skills (MSOffice Products etc)
- Skills to be successful SelfStarter Critical Thinker ProblemSolving Communication Conflict Resolution and Relationship building skills
- Basic understanding of food safety and human safety
- Ability to lift and transport ingredients or equipment up to 55lbs
- Ability to work in hot/ warm climate conditions
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
- The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
**This position involves potential exposure to common allergens including but not limited to milk eggs fish shellfish tree nuts peanuts wheat soybeans and sesame.**
