Job Description
- Position: Surgical Tech:OR(Operating Room)
- Location: Phoenix AZ 85013
- Pay Rate: $ 36 $37/hr
- Shift: Days(8 hrs 5 days/wk)
- Work Week: 40 hours per week
- Gross weekly: $1480.00/week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start: 6th Jan 2025

We are seeking Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) to join our team assisting in surgeries and ensuring a smooth and safe surgical environment. As a CST you will prepare operating rooms assist during procedures and support surgeons and other medical staff to deliver highquality care.

Unit Notes
- Medical Solutions PreScreens and manager will call for a 2nd interview or offer off of notes and profile.
- 8 hrs 5 days/wk; Dec 2 start with week of Dec 23rd through 3rd off 10hrs 4 days/wk; Dec 2 start with week of Dec 23rd through 3rd off
- Unit: Neurosurgery
- # beds: 11 suites
- Certs: BLS. Circulate and Scrub is a plus. ACLS and CNOR preferred. Members in AORN.
- Cases: 400450 cases per month 2025 per day
- EMR: Cerner and Suginet
- Nurse Aides: CSTs 70% RNs 30% CST
- Weekend Requirement: Call
- Holidays: Work into holiday rotation.
- Scrub Color: Provided
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: Shifts. Open 7a11p MF. 2 call teams. 1 call day per month 1 call weekend per month.
- Floating: If general surgery background.
- Floor specific orientation: 1 week in OR
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Crani tumors carotids spine fusion lumbar procedures scoliosis shunts brain biopsies deep brain stimulation tumor ablation.
- Surgical Preparation: Ensure operating rooms are sterile and properly equipped.
- Assisting in Surgery: Assist surgeons by passing instruments maintaining sterile fields and handling surgical materials.
- Patient Care: Support the patient pre and postsurgery ensuring comfort and safety.
- Equipment Management: Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procedures and supplies used during surgery.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
- Certs: BLS. Circulate and Scrub is a plus. ACLS and CNOR preferred. Members in AORN
- Previous 2 years experience in surgical settings preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a sterile environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
