Our client is a company operating a marketplace for consumers sellers and content creators. It offers merchandise and content purchased for resale from vendors and those offered by thirdparty sellers.

Job Description:
- Reviews analyses and evaluates business systems and user needs.
- Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
- Writes detailed description of user needs program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- May require a bachelors degree in a related area and 46 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with relational database concepts and clientserver concepts.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts which are focused on driving efficiency within the business via analysis metrics and reporting dashboards.
- Partner with operations/business teams to consult develop and implement KPIs automated reporting/process solutions and process improvements to meet business needs.
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
- Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
- Design develop and maintain scaled automated userfriendly systems reports dashboards etc. that will support our business needs.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Day to Day:
- Attending business meetings and sync with team members
- Checking health of reporting pipelines (QA responsibilities
- Assisting various programs within systems to determine product expiration and best course of action
- Support conversations with product managers
- own the design creation and management of extremely large datasets.
- Variety of tasks ranging from creating datasets reports dashboards to metadata modeling pipeline monitoring.
- Interact with internal program and product owners and technical teams to gather requirements structure scalable and perform data solutions.
- Responsible to tune query performance against large and complex data sets.
- Help translate analytic insights into concrete actionable recommendations for business or product improvement.
- Interaction level with team: more independent work than collaborative work but there will be points of collaboration
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience as a business analyst
- 35 years of experience heavily using Java python scripts data analysis
- 1 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of Excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3 years of business or financial analysis experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience with Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in relative field
- Former client employee
Degree:
- Bachelors degree in relative field
