Job Title: Systems Modelling Simulation & Analysis Engineer
- Location: Lexington MA (Onsite 35day/week)
- Job Type: W2 Contract
Background/Need:
The group supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development deployment testing and enhancement of the Missile Defense System. This Group performs detailed system and component engineering flight and ground test analysis and advanced capability development in collaboration with the contractors and government program offices that are building the missile defense elements and components. The Group is in need of two (2) System Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineers to support the special requirements of multiple projects.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
This requisition seeks two Engineers with radar data analysis experience who will contribute to various efforts related to Missile Defense System modeling & testing such as developing tools to interface with sensors extract data integrate advanced algorithms build and maintain databases create visualizations perform system studies and flight test data analysis. These individuals will contribute to the simulation tools by both writing code and performing Monte Carlo analyses. They will support high fidelity simulations for system components and their integration into a larger simulation environment. The development of visualizations to understand the results of the employed algorithms will also be required.
Must Have:
- Background in radar data analysis
- Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems
- Experience with MATLAB
- Modeling and Simulation experience
- Algorithm development testing and evaluation
- Experience with different types of sensor data and simulations (radar)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Python
- Collaboration tools (GIT)
- Experience simulation data and experimental data collections
- Experience creating interfaces between different types of simulation frameworks
- Familiarity with MDA simulations and tools
Education & Experience: Bachelors with 5 Years OR Masters with 3 Years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization: US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance is required due to the nature of the work.
