We are seeking a passionate and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic practice in Jacksonville FL. As a nationally recognized dry eye center of excellence our practice s is at the forefront of innovative treatments and care for patients with eye disease. With a reputation for providing stateoftheart eye care our practice offers a range of services including routine eye exams contact lens fittings and advanced medical and surgical ophthalmology.
As an Optometrist you will provide comprehensive vision care up to the full scope of your licensure. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and treating vision problems such as nearsightedness farsightedness and eye diseases like glaucoma as well as prescribing eyeglasses contact lenses and medications. You will deliver pre and postoperative care for surgical patients evaluate systemic conditions like diabetes that affect eye health and refer patients to our physicians when needed. Additionally you will promote eye health through patient education including guidance on the proper use and care of contact lenses and provide specialized care for conditions such as dry eye disease.
