Location: Westlake TX
Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
The Role
As a full stack engineer with Scale and Channel Optimization (SCO) you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team laserfocused on delivering outstanding solutions. You will work across a wide range of technologies bringing deep technical experience across Angular NodeJS Java microservices and cloud.
The Value You Deliver
As a FullStack Engineer in SCO responsibilities include:
- Working as part of an agile SCRUM team
- Developing maintaining and testing solutions across the AngularNodeJava Spring BootAPIAWS tech stack
- Crafting and implementing solutions that align with the wider Fidelity technology strategy
- Documenting & sharing technical solutions and diagrams
- Driving technical hygiene and adoption of engineering leading practices and Fidelity standards
- Collaborating and communicating with other specialists and those with vested interest across SCO and the wider company
- Performing code reviews unit testing and integration testing

Identifying and resolving issues within the production and nonproduction environments
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong problemsolving skills within sophisticated distributed deployments
- 8 years of handson development experience with Angular NodeJS and Java microservices
- Good understanding of cloudcomputing and software development on AWS
- Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- Experience with common CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins Artifactory uDeploy etc)
- Handson experience with logging and observability tools Splunk and Datadog
- Strong communication with technical and nontechnical teammates
- A positive demeanor and strong workethic
