Role Description:
The SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) will be instrumental in addressing students communication challenges and fostering their growth. Your focus will be on creating and delivering personalized intervention plans designed to meet the specific speech and language needs of each student ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive academically and socially.
Work collaboratively with teachers parents and educational team members to support students academic achievement and socialemotional development. Maintain detailed records of student progress preparing comprehensive reports for IEP meetings and administrative purposes. Assist in the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and tools for students with complex communication needs. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to refine skills and stay informed about the latest advancements in speechlanguage pathology.
Requirements
To be considered for this position candidates must hold ASHA certification and possess a Masters degree in Speech Pathology or a related field. Applicants should either hold or be eligible to obtain an SLP license in Georgia. We welcome Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and provide dedicated supervision to support their professional growth and development.
