Job Description
- Highly sought after NSW Government Organisation
- Up to 1003.50 per day including Super
- WFH Hybrid Parramatta location.
- Development implementation and management of enterprise wide category and contract strategies for the Chemical Category
- Partner with the business to develop and implement CorporationWide wide category and contract strategies to effectively manage the risk of externally sourced goods and services develop alternate sources of supply drive commercial benefit and develop the supplier base.
- Senior Stakeholder engagement and management and being the trusted advisor for the business for chemicals
- Manage the endto end sourcing process including task brief option / hypothesis development and testing procurement strategy development market engagement evaluation negotiation of commercial and contractual terms contract formulation and award.
- Leading pricing reviews and contract renegotiation attending or leading scheduled performance reviews resolving supplier performance matter and incidents
- Experience in category management in a large complex organisation preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector
- Relevant degree qualification (e.g. Finance Business Supply Chain) or experience deemed equivalent
- Professional procurement qualification (e.g. MCIPS) Preferred but not essential
- We will consider candidates who have demonstrable experience in managing the following major categories (including but not limited to); Chemical Services Industrial Services and Maintenance Repairs & Operations.
